CYPRUS TAX AMNESTY
A new law has been enacted by the Cyprus government which provides the benefit of the partial write off of interest and penalties on overdue tax (i.e. Income tax, Special Defence Contribution tax, Immovable Property tax, Capital Gain tax and Stamp Duty for periods up to 31st of December 2008). This benefit will be granted to individuals and legal entities for any such settlement made before the 31st of March 2012.
